Hi there, my name is Mae, and this is my food blog/archive!
I love to try new recipes but my kitchen can make it challenging to execute. My idea for this website is to create a working archive of recipes I try and incorporate some sort of rating system that shows difficulty of cooking said recipe in a nyc kitchenette. It’s all for fun and I’m hoping someone stumbles upon this and finds it useful!
Before I go on, full disclosure, I don’t know how to make or edit or use this website. So please forgive me as I figure out formatting and style and everything else, I know it’s an illegible mess currently. I’ve had this site for a few months now, but have neglected it and my kitchen due to a roach situation in my building. Now that things are back to normal and I’m using my kitchen again, it’s time I get this website up and running!
I have an existing ‘blog,’ on blogger that I started at the beginning of the year that only my family has access to. I decided to start this one because I just hated the formatting of the other blog and couldn’t figure out how to or if I could back end code the way I wanted it to look. So now we’re here and I might start repopulating some of those old recipes on here once I can understand how the hell this site works.

This is my kitchen(ette)! Fridgesinkstove. I will have a separate page dedicated to this little space. I plan on moving once my lease is up soon so this space is temporary, but for now it is my kitchen and I’ve learned to love it. Although I doubt my next kitchen will be any bigger lol.
It’s the middle of August and I’ve been craving salads, fresh summer fruits, and strangely enough, soups. While I’ve only started cooking again this month (after going on a reluctant hiatus for June/July), my goal is to start archiving new recipes I find that encompass a wide range of cuisines, ingredients, and cravings. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do 🙂
